As a grassroots collaboration we will:

~ educate our community about healthful, local foods;

~ combine the efforts of our various stakeholders by making connections and sharing resources;

~ create an accessible, local infrastructure that will support our family farmers, encourage local markets, promote environmental responsibility, and assure adequate and safe food for our community, ourselves, and our children.

We plan to accomplish
these goals by:
  • increasing consumer awareness about local food systems;

  • working on initiatives and projects that keep local farming viable;

  • improving food security through local food system resources;

  • creating and maintaining a group to move these goals forward.
